My name is August Baxter Quinif. I am a based in New York City and have been working in fashion production for the past eight years. I graduated from the University of Missouri, Columbia with a Bachelors in Fine Arts with an emphasis in graphic design and a minor in information technologies, focused on editing. I have worked on sets with many brands like Balenciaga, Michael Kors, Zara, Marc Jacobs, Dior, Estee Lauder, creative agencies including Laird n Partners, Art n Commerce, Yard NYC, photographers like David Sims, Daniel Jackson, Mickael Jansson, Rafael Pavarotti. My roles have varied from creative director’s assistant to a set assistant, a production assistant and coordinator, a mangers assistant at IMG Models, and lastly a personal assistant to a model. I have often been referred to as the set cheerleader, emotional support, the energizer bunny, and the best client services. I have seven years of set experience, two years of working in a fast-paced corporate modeling office, and most recently two years of personal assisting to a high profile fashion model. I love the energy of a set, and I love making things happen. Creative direction and art direction have always been my goal. I am obsessed with color and movement and my personal style is minimal yet eccentric. Now, I am challenged with how to use my experience to get to where I want to be. I want to continue into my next role with my experience and my goals in mind, but I am open to what the universe will guide me too.
